Fourth Cliff was a popular summer vacation spot for residents of Boston during the 1800’s. A summer boarding house was built at the top of the cliff and was named the Fourth Cliff House. It was located on Silver Road which is outside the Fourth Cliff gate. Nearby is historic Plymouth, Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod for those interested in local attractions. Boston is only a short distance by car or commuter boat. Today, Fourth still is a very popular vacation destination for military members. |
